A brief business meeting...

We’ll start the afternoon off with a brief (emphasis on brief) bit of Center business.

  • Member approval of the slate of Coordinating Committee representatives
  • If you’d like to serve on the CC, please let us know.
  • Updates about forthcoming workshops, classes, projects, and special events
  • Member questions/new business

Introduction of the 2023 Annual Members' Project…

The folks who've worked on the planning of this coming year's project will reveal all you need to know to join in.

They've come up with a most exciting concept and structure to engage all of our creative efforts.

We need to know if you are planning on attending.…

We ask that you register to ensure that we have a generous supply of refreshments on hand.

Our COVID Vaccination Policy:

It is the Virginia Center for the Book’s expectation that all program participants will be fully vaccinated.

Should public health guidelines change, and new norms be applicable, we reserve the right to revisit the expectations in the interest of participant health and safety.

It is suggested that you bring along a mask.

Organized by

Virginia Humanities is the state humanities council. We’re headquartered in Charlottesville at the University of Virginia, but we serve the entire state.

We aim to share the stories of all Virginians—or, better yet, find ways for people to share their own stories. We want Virginians to connect with their history and culture and, in doing that, we hope we’ll all get to know each other a little better.
